Ms. Rozina Jumani
Rozina Jumani, an Assistant Professor and Academic Coordinator, Faculty of Liberal Arts & Human Sciences, ZU has been teaching post grad and undergrad programs.
She has an MPhil, MA in Education & International Development from IOE- UCL London, MA in Linguistics from University of Karachi and Advanced Diploma in Leadership and Management from Aga Khan University-Institute for Educational Development.
As a Development Consultant Strategic Planning & Capacity Building, she has been associated with education, training and development for the past two decades. Ms. Jumani has been developing programs for private, NGOs and government institutions. In particular, she has conducted professional development programs for novice and experienced professionals for private and public institutions.
There are several books and academic and research work on her credit and presented papers in national and international conferences and summits. She led early years Curriculum Development projects for the ministry of education and led monitoring and evaluation teams for institutional audits as well.
Her research interests include critical thinking in language development, leadership for 21st century, research methodologies (particularly narrative inquiry and action research).

Ms. Haleema Younus
Ms. Haleema Younus is an Academic English Instructor at The Language Centre, Ziauddin University. She has an MA in Linguistics from University of Karachi. Prior to joining ZU full-time, she served as Instructor and Professional Development Teacher at The Aga Khan University – Institute for Educational Development.
Her MA research and thesis on Gender discourse on social media was published in a book English and Empowerment in the Developing World in 2009. She also co-authored a research paper which was published in a book Education in Pakistan: Learning from research partnerships by Oxford University Press 2012.

Amna Akbar
Amna Akbar is an Academic English Instructor at The Language Centre, FLAHS. She has done Master’s in English Linguistics from University of Karachi. Her research and teaching interests include Media Discourse Analysis, Phonology and Sociolinguistics.

Ms. Yusra Jawaid
Yusra Jawaid earned her Master’s degree in English Linguistics from the University of Karachi. She is an Academic English Instructor at the Language Centre of Ziauddin University. Previously she worked as an Assistant Manager at Information Technology Services. Besides that, she has been engaged in content and research-based writing.

Ms. Sidra Tauseef
Sidra Tauseef is Academic English Instructor at FLAHS. She secured a gold medal for Master’s in English
Literature from University of Karachi. Since then, she has been engaged in teaching English language and
literature at various institutes of repute, including Karachi University, Greenwich University and DHA
College for Women. Apart from her professional duties, she writes for children and also enjoys an
earnest game of scrabble.

Sir Naeem Riaz
Muhammad Naeem Riaz, Master’s in English Literature, is an Academic English Instructor at the
Language Centre of Ziauddin University. He earned his Master’s degree from the University of Karachi
and is also a certified trainer of Teaching English as a Foreign Language. His research areas include
Modernism and Post-Colonial criticism.
